  • To reduce the amount of unnecessary losses due to lightning damage
     
  •  To reduce the wasteful practices of the conventional lightning protection industry
     
  • To provide information on physically invalid claims, ignorance and false advertising in the lightning protection industry
   

To provide a series of modern tools and strategies to minimize lightning damage:    

  • FSAT, Field Sensitive Air Terminal. A high efficiency lightning rod that unlike conventional rods does not have the tendency to self-protect or self-shield by the production of space charges under high ambient ground field conditions prior to the arrival of the descending leader. The FSAT comes in a number of sizes based on voltage or space potential ratings determined by the height and the dimensions of the particular structure to be protected.
     
  • Toroidal Streamer Inhibitors. A revolutionary, silent, streamer free electrode that produces corona or space charges in the glow mode over a very broad range of voltages or space potentials (no visible/audible discharges, no radio interference). An air terminal that inhibits the formation of streamers/leaders in its vicinity and thus reduces the risk of a direct lightning strike to a designated area. Streamer Inhibitors come in a variety of sizes for different applications and for different voltage or space potential ratings. Within any given range Streamer Inhibitors are modular and can be combined.
     
  • Streamer Inhibiting Conductors. An overhead ground wire that produces corona or space charges in the glow mode over a very broad range of voltages or space potentials. A conductor that inhibits the formation of streamers/leaders in its vicinity and thus reduces the risk of a lightning strike to a designated area
     
  • Streamer Inhibiting Down-Conductors. A down conductor to be used in applications such as the down-conductor in a wind turbine blade. A down-conductor that produces corona or space charges in the glow mode over a very broad range of voltages or space potentials. A conductor that inhibits the formation of streamers/leaders from inside that blade and thus enhances the reliability of the receptors.
     
  • Surge Suppressing Conductors. A revolutionary power-carrying conductor or electrical power transmission line that suppresses or dissipated the excess energy of switching surges or lightning surges through the enhanced production of space charges.  
     
  • Strategies that use all of the above technologies together to provide the most advanced, scientifically based lightning protection.
